GUIDING PRINCIPLES

SELECTION CRITERIA

"Attractive businesses diversified across life cycle stages provide multiple ways to outperform"

Investment Process – Selection Criteria

LaSalle Street employs a disciplined, three-step approach to its investment process.

  1. Identify Superior Businesses – Companies with strong management teams, solid cash flows, and the ability to maintain their competitive advantages.
  2. Utilize Dual Valuation Approach – Companies identified as superior businesses are valued on an absolute and relative basis. Absolute valuation focuses on the “cash on cash” return of the business, while the relative valuation views the stocks relative to the current market sentiment. The most attractive companies are eligible for the portfolio construction process, subject to maintaining portfolio integrity.
  3. Construct the Portfolio – LaSalle Street’s risk management process incorporates both the Corporate Life Cycle methodology and traditional risk control metrics.
